Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery

Pine Street

Dupont, PA 18641

Our parish cemetery was established in 1904 as a venerable burial ground for many of the original Polish immigrants to our area.  It remains today as a well-maintained and operating parish cemetery with room to expand.  The cemetery is divided into four distinct sections: Gethsemeni, Holy Cross, Calvary and Holy Sepulchre. Our cemetery accepts both traditional in-ground burials of caskets and urns, as well as locations for individual mausoleums and a space for green burials. A columbarium for the interment of urns was recently erected in our cemetery. Also, a space near the columbarium has been designated solely for the in-ground burial of urns. Please contact the parish office for pricing and availability.  The Pope St. John Paul II Cemetery Chapel graces the cemetery on Pine Street.
